After 12 years of gaining experiences in organizing dance events Europe-wide, we decided to begin a new chapter in our story. We wanted to combine the learning experience with the unique summer adventure – so in 2014 we launched the first edition of the WhoGotSkillz Beat Camp, with our motto to offer our dancers:
The ultimate summer dance experience. Our mission is to organize a high quality dance event, through which participant will gain knowledge about urban dance styles and about urban culture. We want to create the atmosphere for young people where we encourage their social integration and social interaction and promote a healthy form of the lifestyle and entertainment.

DESTINATION

BERLIN

We are very happy to welcome you to the capital of Germany. The summer uncovers the most beautiful aspects of Berlin! The hotel and the location are situated in Mitte. Mitte is more than just the centre and heart of the city. It is also the cradle where Berlin was born, growing from a small settlement founded along the River Spree in the thirteenth century. Mitte has always cultivated its own distinctive character. Not only does it embody Berlin as an open world city more than any other borough, but it also impressively reflects the city’s chequered history. Where once the Prussian kings ruled, a new forum for art, culture and science has emerged in the heart of Mitte, the Humboldt Forum. With its future collections and exhibitions, it stands for an equal dialogue of world cultures. Together with the Museum Island, the new cultural center of Berlin will be created. We want to give you some tips of what you can do during your free time in Berlin.

SHOPPING

  • Next to the hotel you will find the shopping and leisure centre ALEXA with plenty of shopping choices and a large variety of exciting entertainment offers
  • Since the hotel is situated in the center of Berlin, you will find more cool stores and restaurants at the Alexanderplatz
  • You are a fashion lover?! No problem, go visit those places: Potsdamer Platz & Leipziger Platz, Kurfürstenplatz, Friedrichstrasse and Hackescher Mark

The Tower which is known to locals as the Fernsehturm, and is instantly recognisable from the distance, stand outs of the skyline at 368m, making it the tallest building in Berlin. Built in the 1960s, visitors to the tower can enjoy a unique 360° panorama of the city.

The Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most stunning squares in the city, located close to Friedrichstraße, Berlin's exclusive shopping street in the central Mitte district. Berlin's Museum Island is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites and home to the city's most important exhibition centres: the Altes Museum (Old Museum), the Neues Museum (New Museum) the Bode Museum, the Pergamon Museum and the Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery). The collections in these buildings encompass over 6,000 years of art and cultural history. Just opposite Berlin's Museum Island, the magnificent monumental Berlin Cathedral, an important landmark of Berlin whose history dates back to the 15th century, is also located on the Museum Island.

Reichstag (45min walk):

When the decision was made to move the Federal Government to Berlin, it was time to reawaken the Reichstag building from its long years of slumber on the Mauerstreifen, the military zone between the two sides of the Wall. The building has since been completely modernised, and today's visitors to the Reichstag can look out from the building's glass dome to get a bird's eye view of the hustle and bustle in the city. There are also a number of government buildings in the vicinity of the Reichstag, for example the Bundeskanzeleramt and the Brandenburg Gate.

Brandenburg gate (40min walk):

Without a doubt, the Brandenburg gate is Berlin's signature attraction. Built in 1791, it was just one of many old city gates around the city of Berlin which, at that time, was still a manageable size. The decorative Pariser Platz was laid at the foot of the gate and is now home to many of the city's important buildings, for example, the Hotel Adlon with its wealth of history and the Akademie der Künste (Academy of the Arts).

The Berlin Wall memorial and Documentation Center (40min walk):

The Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer (Berlin Wall Memorial) is located between the districts of Wedding and Mitte on Bernauer Straße, consisting of the Memorial to the Victims of the Wall, a Documentation Centre and the Chapel of Reconciliation. The surviving section of the wall and watchtower enable visitors to get a real feel for the reality of the border facilities. Get to know more about the Berlin wall at the East Side Gallery.
